In a recent interview with Quien.com Belinda confessed that dancing "every day" while on tour keeps her in great shape. "I do a lot of choreography because I'm on tour. I rehearse a lot of dancing," she said. "Dance has been found to be therapeutic for patients with Parkinson's disease. More than one million people in this country are living with Parkinson's disease, and, according to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, each year another 60,000 are diagnosed with the disease. Parkinson's disease belongs to a group of conditions called motor-system disorders, which develop when the dopamine-producing cells in the brain are lost," says Harvard Health.

Belinda eats a lot of fruits and veggies, like salads paired with lean proteins. "I like everything, I don't have diets. I think the important thing is to be active during the day because that's how you burn the calories. Obviously I try to take care of myself and eat 'healthy', but I don't really have a diet," she told Vanity Fair.

Belinda also drinks detox tea, several times a day, in order to speed up her metabolism and promote detoxification, she told Quien. "Animal studies suggest potential health benefits of tea due to its high polyphenol content. Human studies have generally been less conclusive, yet show promise. Observational research has found that tea consumption of 2-3 cups daily is associated with a reduced risk of premature death, heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes," says Harvard Health.

Belinda eats healthy, but allows herself to indulge. She keeps her diet on weekdays in check, and gives herself an opportunity to cheat on Saturday and Sunday. "What I do is take care of my diet during the week and on the weekend eat whatever you want because you should never starve," she told Quien.

Belinda is all about hydration. "I'm always drinking water all day. It's basic," she told Quien. She also consumes a lot of fruit and veggie juices. "I drink a lot of juices a day. I love them," she told Quien. How much fluids should you be drinking? Per the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

Belinda also told Quien that she also exercises. Her routine is short and simple, but incredibly effective. "I have a basic exercise routine that is cardio, a little bit of abdomen with the basic sit-ups," she said. "You can also reach your goal by performing chunks of exercise in 10- or 15-minute blocks throughout the day. For example, do 10 minutes before breakfast, 10 minutes during your lunch break, and another 10 minutes after dinner. Or do 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the afternoon. If you're just starting out, gradually build up to 150 minutes a week," says Harvard Health.
