Amidst the usual expected mayhem and entertainment, what else can we expect this weekend? From the judges to the opening contestants, CelebMix have got it covered!

When does Britain’s Got Talent 2017 begin?

The start date for BGT’s 11th series has been revealed to be Saturday, April 15th, at a time of 8:00pm on ITV. The opening episode will last 85 minutes, concluding at 9:25pm.

Who’s hosting?

The nation’s favourite presenting duo, Ant and Dec, are back to present the big entertainment show.

Who’s judging?

Simon is clearly happy with the current BGT judging panel, with himself, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams ALL returning for their sixth series together.

Who will be performing on the first episode?

Twelve hopefuls will appear on our television screens tonight. Amongst the usual musicians and dancers, the show will also feature an 8-year-old comedian, an impressionist, two mind readers, a doggy yoga group, a magician, and more!

Below, you can watch two preview clips. One featuring 34-year-old actor and entertainer ‘Adam Keeler’ who performs a comedy dance routine for the audience. The other video features a singing impressionist named ‘Jess Robinson’.

What else can we expect this series?

Viewers can expect a choir group storming off the stage after Simon declares their performance to be ‘one of the worst things I’ve seen in my life’. An underwater illusionist’s escape trick ends up in disaster also, with the water tank bursting and flooding the stage. The continued bromance between Cowell and Walliams is also guaranteed to return, with David accordingly stripping and performing a lap dance to his friend and fellow judge.
