Edward was born in New York, and was a pioneer in exporting European cars to the U.S. He was a prominent Floridian, who was a co-founder and governor of Florida’s chapter of the General Society of Colonial Wars. John was the son of Walter Rutherfurd and Martha Louisa Jones. Florence was the daughter of Edward Crozer and Florence Robinson.
